Big River Tattoo is home to a large collection of vintage flash. Rich recently put up new flash, filling the rest of the entranceway. We are proud to display flash by Bart Bingham, Paul Rogers, Jensen Detroit, Bill Loika, Lee Roy Minugh, Owen Jensen, L.L. McKeevey, Herbert Hoffman, Horiyuki (Jill Bonny), and Colin Laroque. We have a little bit of everything and we would love to tattoo these pieces, so feel free to pick one off the wall!
Dan Santoro joined us yesterday at Big River Tattoo and spent the day tattooing at the shop. It was great having him here! Dan was booked all day with his bold, traditional tattoos.
16 years ago, Rich took Dan as his apprentice and got him started in the world of tattooing. It was great for the two artists to work along side each other again. We’re looking forward to having Dan guest spot at Big River Tattoo again in the future!
Mike has been at the shop for a month now and we couldn’t be more pleased. He’s been creating awesome tattoos and we are proud to have him full time at the shop. These are some of the tattoos he did this past month. Come in and get tattooed!
We are so excited to welcome Michael Gary to Big River Tattoo! He is working here full time and we couldn’t be happier to have him! Check out his work on his page (http://bigrivertattoo.com/michael-gary/) and his instagram. Come in for some tattoos!
Email email@example.com for an appointment.
We have some new things going on here at Big River Tattoo! We now have gift certificates available in the shop! If you need a great gift for the holidays or for a birthday or any celebration, stop in and pick one up!
Also, we will be open both Christmas Eve and New Years Eve from 12:00-3:00pm taking walk ins and selling gift certificates! So pop in and say hi.
Big River Tattoo is in full swing! Our doors are open and we have new artists on board.
We are very proud and excited to welcome Dave Shoemaker to the shop! Dave has been tattooing for over 25 years. While Dave is diverse in style, he brings something very new to the shop: Polynesian tattoos. His Polynesian tribal tattoos are rich and clean as he pays close attention to how the designs contour the body. Dave has said that he wants his tattoos to “be grounded in the past, enabling them to stand up to the test of time”.
He will be here every Friday.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule an appointment with Dave!
Rich Cahill Studio is officially Big River Tattoo!
We’ve turned the studio into a shop. The walls have been repainted, we’ve got flash framed and hanging on the walls. Art from friends and from around the world have been matted and hung. New lights, new stations, new artists.
Shoot me an email at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment.
August 7th, 8th and 9th 2015 Crowne Plaza 1741 Paper Mill Rd. Wyomissing Pennsylvania
I will be joining fellow artists at Pagoda City Tattoo Fest the first weekend in August! It will be fun catching up with old friends I haven’t seen in a long time and I’m looking forward to making new ones. I will have an assortment of my rotary machines on hand. There will be tattooing, seminars, and contests throughout the event. Come on out, get tattooed, and enjoy!
I’m taking appointments for the show and walk ups too.
Email email@example.com if you’d like to schedule an appointment during the festival.
I am happy to announce that I have been studying and working in the art of Tebori, a traditional Japanese method of tattooing. Tebori, a form of hand tattooing, uses a long steel needle instead of standard tattoo machine. The insertion of the steel needle creates a dense richness in color, as well as allowing for a wide gradation of colors. Following tradition, I handcrafted my needle tool. Outside of Japan, Tebori is rarely practiced. I’m so excited to bring this ancient experience to New Jersey!
